Inter Scan Delay (s) The time between one scan’s end and the next scan’s
start, in seconds. No data are stored in this period.
Tip: This value is typically 10% of Scan Time.
Note: Linked scanning options are available only if you select B/E scan,
B
2
/E scan, or CNL scan in the Acquisition Function list box.
Function Mass Enter the required mass appropriate to the current
acquisition function:
• For a B/E Scan, the precursor mass.
•For a B
2
/E Scan, the product mass.
• For a CNL Scan, the loss mass.
Low Mass Precursor
Ion (m/z)
Display only.
High Mass Precursor
Ion (m/z)
Display only.
Pre-Acquisition
Calibration File
Name
Specify a pre-acquisition calibration file name (of
type *.cal, or *.scl) and path in the text box, or click
Browse.
Rule: This file is used to calibrate the scan of ESA1
and ESA2 performed by the current Acquisition
Function scan. This file must be created on standard
Magnet Scan data, over exactly the same magnet
mass range and scan time as the scan.
Start Starts the acquisition.
Close Closes this dialog box. The current settings are
retained when the dialog box reopens.
Calibration Opens the Scope Calibration dialog box, from which
you to select a calibration file to apply to the
acquired data.
