Instrument Setup dialog box Magnet tab
Restriction: The Current magnet mode is the only mode available when a Hall
probe is not fitted to the instrument.
To switch on the magnet
Select Magnet.
To switch off the magnet
Clear Magnet.
The Magnet Constant Utility dialog box
Use the Magnet Constant Utility dialog box to set up a magnet constant to
provide a crude calibration for magnet scanning experiments. The constant is
stored in the c:\MassLynx\VxWorks\Script.txt setup file.
