Verifying VSIR experimental resolution
Use the Resolution Checker dialog box to create a resolution check setup file,
which is used for post-acquisition verification of the VSIR experimental
resolution. This file is VSIR experiment specific, and can be applied to the
required VSIR experiment via the Process Options facility in the MassLynx
Sample List (see the MassLynx User’s Guide).
To open the Resolution Checker dialog box
In the Tune window, click Options > Resolution Checker.

Parameter Description
Method File Name Specifies the experiment file name and path.
Reference file File
Name
Specifies the reference file name and path.
Resolution Check:
Tolerance (+/-) Specifies the tolerance allowed when determining if a
resolution check passes or fails.
