7 Routine maintenance
This chapter provides maintenance guidelines and procedures that are
required to maintain the instrument’s performance.
Keep to the maintenance schedule and perform maintenance as required
and described in this chapter.
Maintenance schedule
The following table lists periodic maintenance schedules that ensure optimum
instrument performance.
The maintenance frequencies shown apply are to be used as a guideline.

Procedure Frequency
Gas-ballast the rotary pumps. Weekly.
Inspect and adjust the rotary pump
oil level.
Weekly.
Change the rotary pump oil. Every 3000 hours of pump
operation.
