To start a single sample acquisition
1. In the Tune window, click .
Alternative: Click Acquire; this button changes to Stop when an
acquisition is running.
2. In the Acquisition Setup dialog box, enter the required parameters.
3. Click Start.
To change the project into which data are saved
1. Stop the acquisition.
2. In the MassLynx window, click File > Open Project to open an existing
project, or File > Project Wizard to create a new project.
Starting multiple-sample data acquisition from the MassLynx
window
The MassLynx window contains a sample list, that defines multiple samples,
that can be used together to perform a quantitative analysis. The list of
samples using a spreadsheet style editor, which you can tailor to suit
individual requirements.
The Start Sample List Run dialog box is opened when you start data
acquisition via the MassLynx window; use it to define the acquisition
parameters.
