2. Place the vessel in the ultrasonic bath for 30 minutes.
Recommendation: Depending on the nature of the contamination,
repeat steps 1 and 2 with different solvents, to achieve thorough
cleaning of the components.
3. Carefully remove the chamber assembly components from the vessel.
4. Blow-dry the components using inert, oil-free gas.
Alternative: Place the components on clean, lint-free towels, and allow
them to air dry. Wipe off any water spots with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Assembling the inner source chamber assembly
To fit the trap
1. Fit the long ceramic spacer to the trap’s shaft.
2. Fit the 2-mm ceramic spacer over the long ceramic spacer.
Caution: To avoid re-contaminating the chamber assembly
components following cleaning, use clean, lint-free cotton gloves during
assembly.
