Stopping data acquisition
You can stop an acquisition in either of two ways: from the Tune or MassLynx
window. In either case, data already acquired are saved.
• In the Tune window, click .
Rule: Stopping an acquisition from the Tune window stops only the
current acquisition in the sample list; data acquisition for the next entry
in the sample list then starts.
• In the MassLynx window, click .
Alternative: Click Run > Stop.
Export Results to
LIMS
Produces a text file containing the quantitation
results for use with a laboratory information
management system (LIMS). If selected you can
specify a file in the LIMS export text box.
Project Displays the name of the current project.
From Sample The sample number of the first sample to be
acquired.
To Sample The sample number of the last sample to be
acquired.
Method: Displays the name of the current method file. To
change the file, click the appropriate Browse button,
and select a new file
.
Curve Displays the name of the current curve file. To
change the file, click the appropriate Browse button
and select a new file
.
LIMS Export Available only when you select Export Results to
LIMS. Click Browse and select a LIMS text file, or
enter the name of a new file, and then click Save.
Caution: Stopping an acquisition from the MassLynx window stops the
sample list, but does not stop the inlet system.
