15. Lift the outer source assembly vertically out of the source housing.
Disassembling the outer source
Tip: At all stages of disassembly, note the location and orientation of
components; also note the configuration of wiring and connections to facilitate
the later reassembly of the outer source assembly.
Note: In the following procedures, top, bottom, left-hand side and right-hand
side refer to the outer source assembly when orientated as mounted in the
instrument's source housing, and looking at the instrument from the front.
Warning: The source components can be contaminated with toxic
materials. Wear nitrile gloves at all times while handling the
components.
