Status switch positions and LED states

Isolate Red Red The system is totally isolated. You cannot turn
on high voltages or operate valves. You can vent
the source housing, if required.
Standby Orange Red The vacuum is not at a level where the system
can be operated.
Green Red The vacuum level is such that both ion gauges
have been switched on and the status switch
may be moved to the Operate position.
Operate Orange Orange The vacuum is not at a level where the
instrument can be switched into Operate mode.
Green Orange The instrument is in Standby mode, although
the vacuum is at a level where the instrument
can be switched into Operate mode.
Orange Green The instrument is in Operate mode, but the
analyzer isolation valve is closed.
Green Green The instrument is in Operate mode and the
analyzer isolation valve is open.
