Theory of Operation
If a jam occurs between the pinch roller assembly and the takeaway roller, it is
hard to retrieve documents due to the high spring pressure of the pinch roller
assembly. In order to retrieve jammed documents, open the ADF Cover to
release the spring pressure. This results in enough clearance between the
pinch rollers and the takeaway roller to release the paper.
