Theory of Operation
Feeding in Registration Section
The sheet fed out of the Tray is forwarded to the registration section, driven by the
Main Drive Assembly and controlled by the Registration Clutch.
When the sheet reaches the registration section, its lead-edge position is adjusted
(see “Lead-edge Registration” on page 2-23), and then the sheet is forwarded to
the toner transfer section (Transfer Roller).
