1. Open the Main Paper Tray Cover.
2. Release the boss on the Main Paper Tray Cover from the hole in the Front
Cover, and then remove the Main Paper Tray Cover.

1. Remove the Main Paper Tray Cover (page 8-29).
2. Lift the Scanner.
3. Remove the Output Tray Extension (page 8-31).
