Theory of Operation
Development
The development process makes a visible image appear on the drum surface by
electrically attracting toner particles to the electrostatic latent image. This process
is performed in parallel for Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black color independently.
Toner Suppl y
The toner in the Toner Cartridge is fed into the imaging unit by an auger. The
auger is driven by the Toner Motor.
