Note: Always perform the Auto adjustment first before performing a manual
adjustment.
Manual: The user performs the adjustment manually, including printing test patterns, interpreting
the printed targets on those patterns, and then manually entering the adjustment values. Use the
Manual adjustment option only when the Auto adjustment does not provide the desired output.
Test Print Information for the Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment Option
When using the Test Print option for Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment option, two test print
windows display. For more information, refer to the following procedures:
Test Print Window 1 for Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment
Test Print Window 2 for Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment
Test Print Window 1 for Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment
After selecting either Auto or Manual, the first Test Print (Auto or Manual) window opens. From this
window, you may select the desired options, such as paper tray, sides imaged, and color mode.

Test Print Window 2 for Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment
After the press runs a test print, a second Test Print window displays.
For information on which option to use for either the Auto or Manual adjustment options, refer to
the following procedures:

Using the Auto Adjustment Option for Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment
1. Perform one of the following:
Copy an existing stock entry. Refer to Copying a Stock Entry.
Modify or edit an existing stock entry. Refer to Editing an Existing Stock in the Stock Library.
2. From the Stock Properties window, select and modify the stock attributes as required, including
entering a new or revised stock name, selecting a stock size, color, and other attributes.
If using the Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment option, customize the stock name or include
information in the Comment section to identify the usage of this option. For example name the
stock Custom STVAdj_Auto or add a comment stating This custom stock is using
Secondary Transfer Voltage Auto Adjustment.
3. Select Advanced Setup.
The Advanced Stock Setup window opens.
4. For Secondary Transfer Voltage Adjustment, select the Auto option.
The Test Print - Secondary Transfer Voltage Auto Adjustment window opens.
5. Select the following settings:
a. Paper tray
