PredictPrint Media Manager Troubleshooting
This section helps you locate and resolve specific problems through the use of the PredictPrint Media
Manager.
Important: Many of the following solutions must be performed from the PredictPrint Media
Manager application.
To improve print quality, confirm the following:
• The media is compatible with the press.
• The media is within the supported specifications and is in good condition.
• The media is assigned to a designated tray, and that designated tray was selected for the print
job.

Problem
Unable to run any of the setup routines, including calibration and profiling, or print custom barcodes
in the Stock Wizard while the press is busy.
Solutions
Before you perform any of the setup routines in the Stock Wizard, ensure that the press is not busy.

Problem
When there is a faulted job on the press, the Stock Wizard does not recognize loading of the paper
tray, or the action of opening and closing a paper tray.
Solutions
Clear all faulted jobs on the press, then scan the barcode again or load paper in the paper tray.

Problem
Multifeed or misfeed paper jams are occurring in Tray 6, 7, 8, or 9.
