In an Accordion 4 Fold, the paper is creased in quarters accordion style.
Crease - Accordion 5 Fold
In an Accordion 5 Fold, the paper is creased in fifths accordion style.
Crease Adjustment Procedure
Use the following procedure to create any type of crease:
Note: To make a Bi-Fold Single Sheet fold, the press is connected to a Production Ready Booklet
Maker Finisher.
Note: To make fold types other than a Bi-Fold Single Sheet, the press is connected to either a C/
Z Folder device or to a Crease and Two-Sided Trimmer device.
1. From the PredictPrint Media Manager main window, select Profiles.
The Profiles window appears.
2. Select the Fold Adjustment tab.
The Fold Adjustment option appears.
3. Select either the New or Edit button.
If you edit an existing crease adjustment, select the desired profile from the list and then select
the Edit button.
The [New or Existing] Profile Properties window opens.
4. Type in a new name, or if needed, edit the existing name.
It is recommend that you use a name that indicates the crease type.
5. From the drop-down menu, select the desired Fold Type.
6. Select desired settings such as Size, Coating, and Weight.
7. Make any desired changes to the following fields:
a. Crease Position: Enter a length between -20.0–20.0 mm.
