Hoist
The next hydraulic cycle is the Hoist function, more
commonly known as Raise & Lower.
Lift Circuit
Refer to figure 15857. Lifting the multitask handle will
change the voltage across POT 2, the Raise/Lower po-
tentiometer, creating a Raise command input to the
truck's electronic control system. The system will ener-
gize the coils of SVH and SVBy and the pump motor.
SVH will shift and allow oil flow after PCA and CVR to
flow out of the manifold to the lift cylinders. SVBy will
shift and prevent oil flow after PCA from flowing back to
the reservoir.
