Event Code 737
ACCESS 1/ACCESS 7 CAN Communication Issue.
ACCESS 1 receiving short packets.
Follow procedure for event code 736.
Event Code 738
ACCESS 1 / ACCESS 7 CAN Communication Error.
ACCESS 1 receiving long packets.
Follow procedure for event code 736.
Event Code 739
Tilt Position Sensor (RPS2) Outside Calibrated
Range.
ACCESS 7 has detected the RPS2 sensor to be out of
range from the calibrated values.
Note: A 739 event code will be logged when calibrating
tilt (RPS2) if HGTS1 is open (mast up).
Step 1: Use Analyzer mode A2.4.8.1 and A2.4.8.2 in
display to verify input during tilt operation.
If: Value is not between 0.5 and 4.5 Vdc or incon-
sistent with commands.
Then proceed to Step 2.
If: Value is within range.
Then replace ACCESS 7.
Step 2: Verify mechanical operation of RPS2, including
set screw is tight on shaft.
If: Mechanical issue.
Then repair and recalibrate RPS2.
If: Correct.
Then recalibrate RPS2. If issue remains then
proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Check power supply voltage to RPS2 between
CA421-1 (+) and CA421-3 (-). Should be approxi-
mately 5 Vdc.
If: Correct.
Then proceed to Step 4.
If: Incorrect.
Proceed to Step 5.
Step 4: Check RPS2 input wiring to ACCESS 7,
CA232-1 to RPS2 CA421-2 for continuity.
If: No continuity.
Then repair wiring.
If: Wiring has continuity.
Then replace RPS2.
Step 5: Check voltage at CA232-4 (+) and CA232-12
(-). Should be approximately 5 Vdc.
If: Correct.
Then a wiring problem exists between
ACCESS 7 and RPS2. Repair as necessary.
If: Incorrect.
Then replace ACCESS 7.
