Event Code 741
Accessory Potentiometer POT3 Outside Calibrated
Range.
The POT3 input has gone to a value that is out of range
from the calibrated values (above).
Follow procedures for event code 740.
Event Code 742
Lift/Lower Potentiometer POT2 Outside Calibrated
range.
The POT2 input has gone to a value that is out of range
from the calibrated values (below).
Note: If code is intermittent, then recalibrate POT2 with
multi-task handle held firmly against upper and lower
stops.
Step 1: Use Analyzer menu A2.4.7 to check input to
ACCESS 7 while lifting and lowering.
• If: Range is approximately 1.3 to 3.6 volts and con-
sistent with commands.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
• If: Range is not approximately 1.3 to 3.6 volts or
inconsistent with commands.
– Then proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Verify mechanical operation of POT2.
• If: Mechanical issue.
– Then repair/replace POT2.
• If: POT2 mechanical operation is OK.
– Then recalibrate POT2 and if issue remains
proceed to step 3.
Step 3: Check power supply voltage to POT2. Connect
leads across pins CA220-4 and CA220-6.
• If: Approximately 5 V.
– Then proceed to Step 4.
• If: Not approximately 5 V.
– Then proceed to Step 5.
Step 4: Check wiper circuit continuity. Connect leads
across pins CA220-5 and CA232-7.
• If: No continuity.
– Repair/replace wiring or connection.
• If: Continuity.
– Then replace POT2.
Step 5: Check power supply voltage from ACCESS 7.
Connect leads across pins CA232-8 and CA232-9.
• If: Approximately 5 V.
– Then repair/replace wiring or connection from
CA232 to CA220.
• If: Not approximately 5 V.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
Event Code 743
Lift Potentiometer POT2 Outside Calibrated Range.
The POT2 input has gone to a value that is out of range
from the calibrated values (above).
Follow procedures for event code 742.
Event Code 744
ACCESS 7 Software Watchdog Monitor.
Software watchdog issue during self test.
Step 1: Re-key truck.
• If: Event code reoccurs.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
