power up sequence.
Step 1: Check line contactor tips.
• If: Tips welded.
– Then repair/replace as necessary.
• If: Tips OK.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Check voltage between +BV and BNEG of
ACCESS 3, with key off and battery unplugged.
• If: Voltage steadily dropping toward 0 Vdc or at 0
Vdc.
Note: Voltage will take approximately 10 minutes to
reach 0 Vdc from 38 Vdc.
– Then replace ACCESS 3.
• If: 35 to 38 Vdc.
– Then short exists between battery and
ACCESS 3. Repair/replace as necessary.
Event Code 307
Voltage not present at ACCESS 3 +BV terminal
after power up sequence.
Note: If Event 307 flashes briefly after start up then

• If: Line contactor open.
– Then follow event 311 procedures.
Step 2: Check voltage between +BV and BNEG power
cable connections on ACCESS 3.
• If: 35 to 38 Vdc.
– Then replace ACCESS 3.
• If: Less than 35 volts.
– Then follow Event 303 procedures.
