Event Code 214
Load Sense Transducer PT1 Output Out of Range
(DC Hydraulic models).
Step 1: Power down and disconnect battery. Recon-
nect battery and power up.
• If: Code continues.
– Then replace PT1.
• If: Code still continues.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
Event Code 215
ACCESS 2 Travel Alarm (ALM2) Output Driver (DC
Hydraulic models).
Step 1: From ACCESS 1, proceed to Level 3, Analyzer
menu A4.2.1 and with DVOM across ALM1, test drive
output from Access 2.
• If: 33-35 Vdc and alarm sounds.
– Then output driver is correct, check ALM1 wir-
ing for shorts.
• If: Less than 33-55 Vdc.
– Then output driver is not working. Proceed to
Step 2.
Step 2: Verify Travel alarm (ALM2) is enabled. Navi-
gate to F9 Features menu to check.
• If: Travel alarm is turned on.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
• If: Travel alarm is turned off.
– Then turn on travel alarm.
Event Code 216
ACCESS 2 Travel Alarm (ALM2) Output Driver
Shorted (DC Hydraulic models).
Step 1: Verify Travel Alarm (ALM2) is enabled. Navi-
gate to F9 Features menu to check. From ACCESS 1,
proceed to Level 3, Analyzer menu A4.2.1 and with
DVOM across ALM2, test drive output from
ACCESS 2.
• If: 33-35 Vdc.
– Then output driver is OK. Reset code and mon-
itor for reoccurrence.
• If: Less than 33-35 Vdc.
– Then output driver is not working, proceed to
Step 2.
Step 2: Check for short from negative wire of ALM2 to
BNEG by checking voltage from +BV to ALM2 negative
wire.
• If: 33-35 Vdc.
– Then negative wire is shorted to BNEG, trace
wire to CA405-28 and repair wiring.
• If: Less than 5 Vdc.
– Then proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Disconnect wires and check ALM2 for internal
short using ohmmeter, should read 35 to 45 ohm.
• If: Less than 35 ohm.
– Then replace ALM2.
• If: 35-45 ohm.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
