Event Code 221
P Contactor Shorted (AC Hydraulic models).
Step 1: With Key off, measure voltage at +BV on AC-
CESS 2 while referencing BNEG cable for negative.
• If: +BV has greater than 5 Vdc.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
• If: +BV is 0 Vdc.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
Step 2: Remove power cable to P contactor.
• If: Voltage drops to 0 Vdc.
– Then replace P contactor.
• If: Voltage does not drop.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
Event Code 222
Voltage not present at ACCESS 2 +BV terminal
after power up sequence.
Note: If event 222 flashes briefly after start up then
changes to event 219, the event is caused by an open
in the P (pump) contactor power circuit.
Step 1: Verify P (pump) contactor is closed. Key must
be on and operator standing on the floorboard (pres-
ence switch closed).
• If: P contactor closed.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
• If: P contactor open.
– Then follow Event 221 procedures.
Step 2: Check voltage between +BV and BNEG power
cable connections on ACCESS 2.
• If: 35 to 38 Vdc.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
• If: Less than 35 Vdc.
– Then follow Event 201 procedures.
Event Code 223
ACCESS 2 capacitor not charging after power up
sequence (AC Hydraulic models only).
Power capacitor charge does not increase when key is
turned on and operator present (DMS closed).
Step 1: Check voltage between +BV and BNEG power
connections at ACCESS 2, with key on and operator
present.
• If: 35 to 38 Vdc.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
• If: Less than 35 Vdc.
– Then follow Event 201 procedures.
