Event Code 308
ACCESS 3 detecting incorrect voltage in current
sensor feedback circuit.
Step 1: Verify traction motor cables are connected to
proper terminals at ACCESS 3 and motors.
• If: Connections correct.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Check for open traction motor. Remove power
cables from each traction motor. Measure and record
resistance across each of the following phases (U to
V), (U to W), (V to W).
• If: Any phase is open.
– Then replace motor.
• If: Any phase is greater than 1 ohm resistance.
– Then replace the motor.
• If: All phases are less than 1 ohm resistance.
– Then replace ACCESS 3.
Event Code 309
ACCESS 3 capacitor not charging after power up
sequence.
Power capacitor charge does not increase when key is
turned on and operator present (DMS closed).
Step 1: Check voltage between +BV and BNEG power
connections at ACCESS 3, with key on and operator
present.
• If: 35 to 38 Vdc.
– Then replace ACCESS 3.
• If: Less than 35 Vdc.
– Then follow event 303 procedures.
Event Code 310
Access CAN Communication Out of Range.
Step 1: Follow Event 300 procedures.
