Event Code 104
ACCESS 1 brake test issue.
Step 1: Verify connections and wiring at brakes,
CA435, CA436, CA210 and CA215, at ACCESS 1.
If: Connections correct.
Then re-key truck.
If: Event clears.
Then monitor truck.
If: Event returns.
Then replace ACCESS 1.
Event Code 105
Left hand brake coil (BRK2) open.
Step 1: Disconnect CA435, connect DVOM and check
resistance of brake coil.
If: Greater than 6.0 ohms.
Then replace BRK2 coil.
If: 6.0 ohms or less.
Proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Disconnect CA215 and check continuity of wir-
ing between CA215 and CA435.
If: No continuity.
Repair/replace wiring or connections.
If: Continuity.
Proceed to step 3.
Step 3: Connect DVOM to CA215-16 and CA215-1.
Enter Level 3, navigate to Analyzer menu A4.1.2.
Press enter on the display and record DVOM reading.
If: Approximately 15 volts.
Check for loose connections, power up truck
and monitor operation.
If: Less than approximately 15 volts.
Replace ACCESS 1.
Note: This code is only generated at power up, when
traction is requested or when the brake is applied to
park the truck.
