Event Code 107
SVA3 solenoid coil shorted.
This code only applies to trucks with a 3rd hydraulic
accessory.
Step 1: Disconnect leads from SVA3, connect DVOM
across coil and check resistance.
• If: Approximately 0 ohm.
– Then coil shorted, replaced coil.
• If: Resistance is OK.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Disconnect CA205 and CA215. Check for con-
tinuity of wires between connectors.
• If: No continuity.
– Then repair/replace wiring.
• If: Continuity.
– Then proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Connect DVOM to CA205-12 and +BV.
• If: 0 V
– Then repair/replace distribution panel or wiring.
• If: Battery volts
– Then proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: Connect DVOM to CA215-23 and CA205-12.
Enter Level 3, navigate to Analyzer menu A4.1.4 SVA3.
Press enter on the display and record DVOM reading.
• If: Approximately 30 V.
– Check for loose connections, power up truck
and monitor operation.
• If: Less than approximately 30 V
– Replace ACCESS 1.
