Foot Presence Switch mismatch.
ACCESS 3 foot presence switch (DMS1, DMS2 and
DMS3) input is different than ACCESS 1 foot presence
switch (DMS1, DMS2 and DMS3) input.
Step 1: Enter Level 2, navigate to Analyzer menu
A2.1.3 DMS. Depress floorboard. Display should show
"1" when the floorboard is depressed (switch closed)
and "0" when the floorboard is released (switch open).
• If: Correct.
– Then proceed to step 3.
• If: Not correct.
– Then proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Connect DVOM to CA215-8 and BNEG (TP6).
Depress brake pedal. DVOM should display battery
volts when the brake pedal is depressed (switch
closed) and 0 volts when the pedal is released (switch
open).
• If: Correct.
– Then replace ACCESS 1.
• If: Not correct.
– Then check wiring and connections between 
CA201-10 and CA215-8. Repair/replace as 
needed. If OK, proceed to step 5.
Step 3: Enter Level 2, navigate to Analyzer menu
A2.3.3 BRKS. Depress brake pedal. Display should
show "1" when the brake pedal is depressed (switch
closed) and "0" when the pedal is released (switch
open).
• If: Correct.
– Check for loose connections, power up truck 
and monitor operation.
• If: Not correct.
– Then proceed to step 4.
Step 4: Connect DVOM to CA403-5 and BNEG (TP6).
Depress brake pedal. DVOM should display battery
volts when the brake pedal is depressed (switch
closed) and 0 volts when the pedal is released (switch
open).
• If: Correct.
– Then replace ACCESS 3.
• If: Not correct.
– Then check wiring and connections between 
CA201-7 and CA403-5. Repair/replace as 
needed. If OK, proceed to step 5.
Step 5: Check voltage between CA201-7 and TP6
(BNEG) and between CA201-10 and TP6 (BNEG).
• If: Both checks are battery volts.
– Check for loose connections, power up truck 
and monitor operation.
• If: Either check is less than battery volts.
– Then replace distribution panel.
