Event Code 751
Event Code 751
ACCESS 2 Startup Miscommunication.
This event code occurs at startup when the ACCESS 7
retrieves Access identification.
Step 1: Measure input voltage to ACCESS 2 during
event at +BV and BNEG.
• If: 35-38 Vdc and stable during event.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
• If: Not 35-38 Vdc and stable.
– Then repair power circuit to ACCESS 2.
Step 2: Check CAN wiring by following event code
733.
• If: CAN wiring is bad.
– Then repair CAN network.
• If: CAN wiring is correct.
– Then proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Check for additional event codes.
• If: Only event code 751 occurs.
– Then replace ACCESS 2.
• If: Event code 751 occurs with 748, 749 or 750
codes.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
Event Code 752
ACCESS 1 Software not compatible with
ACCESS 7 Software.
Software not compatible with ACCESS 7 software.
Step 1: Enter the Utilities menu U1.1.2 and U1.4.2 and
record software part numbers. Contact Crown for soft-
ware updates.
Event Code 753
ACCESS 3 Master Software not compatible with
ACCESS 7 Software.
ACCESS 3 master software not compatible with
ACCESS 7 software.
Step 1: Enter the Utilities menu U1.3.2 and U1.4.2 and
record software part numbers. Contact Crown for soft-
ware updates.
Event Code 754
ACCESS 3 Slave Software not compatible with
ACCESS 7 Software.
ACCESS 3 Slave software not compatible with
ACCESS 7 software.
Step 1: Enter the Utilities menu U1.3.2 and U1.4.2 and
record software part numbers. Contact Crown for soft-
ware updates.
Event Code 755
ACCESS 2 Software not compatible with
ACCESS 7 Software.
ACCESS 2 software not compatible with ACCESS 7
software.
Step 1: Enter the Utilities menu U1.2.2 and U1.4.2 and
record software part numbers. Contact Crown for soft-
ware updates.
Event Code 799
ACCESS 7 Internal Fault.
ACCESS 7 has logged an event indicating an internal
problem exists.
Step 1: Key down truck, then key-up.
• If: Code continues.
– Then load current software in ACCESS 7.
• If: Code continues.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
