Event Code 224
ECR4 (Pump motor encoder) feedback lost (AC
Hydraulic models only).
Note: This event code is only monitored while hydrau-
lic motor is running.
Step 1: Re-key truck and verify if event code still
present.
• If: Event code 218 is present.
– Proceed to Step 2.
• If: No codes present.
– Monitor truck operation for reoccurrence of
code.
Step 2: Check wiring from CA407 pins 1, 2, 3 and 5
through CA410 to CA420 pins 3, 4, 5 and 6.
• If: No wiring issues exist.
– Then issue exists in ECR4. Replace sensor
bearing (ECR4).
