Event Code 731
TILT Not Moving When Commanded.
Tilt has been commanded, the pump has been turned
on and the appropriate solenoids have been ener-
gized. The mast may in fact even be tilting. However,
ACCESS 7 has seen no movement (tilt). In this case
the tilt sensor is in range but stuck or slipping.
This event may occur above staging due to slower
pump speed. In this case, check pump operation first -
refer to Step 5.
Step 1: Use Analyzer mode A2.4.8.1 and A2.4.8.2 to
verify input during tilt operation.
• If: Input is incorrect.
– Then proceed to Step 2.
• If: Input is correct.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
Step 2: Verify mechanical operation of RPS2, including
shaft set screw is tight.
• If: Mechanical operation correct.
– Then proceed to Step 3.
• If: Mechanical operation not correct.
– Then repair RPS2.
Step 3: Verify RPS2 power supply, approximately 5
Vdc at CA421-1 and CA421-3.
• If: Power supply is not correct.
– Then proceed to Step 4.
• If: Power supply is correct.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
Step 4: Verify power supply at ACCESS 7, CA232-4
(+) and CA232-12 (-).
• If: Power supply is incorrect at ACCESS 7.
– Then replace ACCESS 7.
• If: Power supply is correct at ACCESS 7.
– Then repair wiring from ACCESS 7 to RPS2.
CA232-4 and CA232-12 to CA421-1 and
CA421-3.
Step 5: Check hydraulic pressure at test port (quick
disconnect fitting in front of pump).
• If: Pressure is low.
– Then replace pump.
• If: Pressure is OK.
– Then proceed with Step 1.
Event Code 732
ACCESS 1 / ACCESS 7 CAN Receiving Issue.
ACCESS 1 is receiving CAN packets too fast.
Step 1: Verify correct Accesses are on truck.
• If: New Accesses have recently been installed.
– Then check for software compatibility.
Step 2: Determine if event code is being logged during
different truck functions.
• If: Event code is logged during a function.
– Then check load and suppression.
• If: Event code is logged when truck is idle.
– Then key OFF truck, disconnect strobe or other
accessories and key ON truck.
• If: Event code clears.
– Then replace strobe or accessory.
• If: Event code continues.
– Then follow event code 724 to check CAN
Communication lines.
