How the Switch is Activated
If it is necesary to include how the switch is mechani-
cally actuated, a note will be added to the drawing (ex-
ample: operator, lever or truck actuated, etc.)
Application
Switch application is conveyed through the abbrevia-
tion (example: HTS = Height Switch 120 in., DTS =
Drive/Tow Switch).
Notes:
In a schematic, the condition of a circuit is defined
using a note (example: vehicle shown fully low-
ered with no operator on vehicle).
Positive action switches are marked with the fol-
lowing symbol:
