ACCESS 123...System
4. Move and hold the multi-task handle to raise posi-
tion. The mast will raise until the free lift switch
(HGST1) changes state. Then the mast will lower
slightly changing the state of the switch again.
Then the mast will raise slowly stopping just as the
free lift switch changes state and the following
message will be displayed.
Finding breakout maintain command
When this message appears, the ACCESS 123
system is pulsing the SPL valve coil to find out
when the valve will open far enough to start porting
oil and begin lowering the mast. As soon as the
free lift switch changes state, the system will know
the breakout value and the following message will
be displayed:
Raise to max height, then lower
When this message appears, raise to maximum lift
height then lower. The following message will be
displayed:
Finding flow point 1 maintain lower
When this message appears, the ACCESS 123
system is pulsing the SPL valve coil to find out
when the valve will open far enough to allow
enough oil flow to achieve speed 1. The system
uses the lift height entered in F6 features menu
and the free lift switch to calculate lower speeds.
During this lower calibration, when the mast gets
below free lift, the message will change to:
Paused - Raise to top, then lower
Raise the mast to maximum lift height then lower.
Calibration will resume.
The last two messages will repeat until the five
lower speed values are found and then the mes-
sage will change to:
Stop command
When calibration is complete, the display will
briefly show:
Calibration Accepted
The display will ask:
Save? N
5. Press the up/down arrow to toggle to "Y" then
press the enter arrow to save calibration.
C2.3 Accy Valve; this calibration allows the truck to
learn the parameters of SPA solenoid proportional ac-
cessory valve power requirements.
1. Press the right arrow. The display will ask:
Sure? N
2. Press the up/down arrow to toggle to "Y" then
press the enter arrow to continue.
Empty and lower forks to begin
3. Remove the load (if necessary) and fully lower
forks. The following message will be displayed:
Maintain tilt command
4. Push and hold either tilt arrow. The following mes-
sage will be displayed:
Finding Breakout maintain tilt
When this message appears, the ACCESS 123
system is pulsing the SPA valve coil to find out
when the valve will open far enough to start porting
oil. Once this value is found, the following message
will be displayed:
Finding flow point maintain tilt
When this message appears, the ACCESS 123
system is pulsing the SPA valve coil to find out
when the valve will open far enough to allow
enough oil flow to achieve the first accessory flow
point. Once this value is found, the menu will auto-
matically advance to the next flow point.
This calibration will find 5 accessory flow point val-
ues. When the mast tilts forward completely during
this calibration, the message will change to:
Tilting back, maintain command
Maintain the tilt command. The mast will tilt back
and the system will resume calibration.
When calibration is complete, the display will
briefly show:
Calibration Accepted
The display will ask:
Save? N
5. Press the up/down arrow to toggle to "Y" then
press enter arrow to save calibration.
C2.4 Pressure Valve; this calibration allows the truck
to learn the parameters of the proportional accessory
relief valve (PRVA) power requirements.
C2.4 Pressure Valve calibration is necessary when the
truck is equipped with PRVA. PRVA replaces RVA
when the truck is equipped with pressure regulator op-
tion.
1. Press the right arrow. The display will ask:
Sure? N
2. Press the up/down arrow to toggle to "Y" then
press the enter arrow to continue.
