Partial Discharge Test | Precalibration
Manually perform precalibration
Manually perform precalibration before a test starts.

Turn on the product and let it warm up for more than 30 minutes.

Connect the test leads to the product (p.38).

Connect the test leads to the test location of the EUT.

On the HOME Menu screen, press Calibration > Precalibration.

Using the rotary knob, select Once.

Check that “READY” is shown on the display, and then press Execute.
When precalibration has been completed successfully, appears in the upper right of the
display.
When precalibration fails, appears in the upper right of the display.
This completes precalibration.
When precalibration fails
When precalibration fails (Unsuccess), check if the capacitance of the EUT does not exceed 10 nF.
TOS9301PD supports EUT having an electrostatic capacity of up to 10 nF in performing partial discharge
tests.
