Fail mode
Set the instrument so that fail judgment results and PROTECTION mode cannot be released from a
device connected to the SIGNAL I/O connector or REMOTE connector. When Fail Mode is enabled,
appears in the upper right of the display.
If you are using the optional high voltage test probe (p.332), enable fail mode. When a test ends with a fail
judgment, the fail judgment and PROT
ECTION mode is not released even if you let go of the probe.

Press SYSTEM > Configure.
The CONFIG setup screen appears.

Use the rotary knob to select Fail Mode, and then press Edit.

Use the rotary knob to select Enable or Disable, and then press ENTER.
This completes the setting.
