Connecting the test leads
When performing a touch current (TC) test or patient leakage current (Patient) test, you will use the
supplied test leads for leakage current testing (TL22-TOS).
Connect the red test lead to the LEAKAGE C
URRENT A terminal and the black test lead to the LEAKAGE
CURRENT B terminal. To use the 110 % output, connect the red test lead to the LEAKAGE C
URRENT
110% terminal.
The locations on the EUT
that test leads are connected to vary depending on the probe and condition
settings of the test conditions and the appliance class of the EUT. For details on touch current testing, see
“Connecting the test leads to the EUT”
(p.152). For details on patient leakage current testing, see
“Connecting the test leads to the EUT”
(p.194).
WARNING
Risk of electric shock. When using the test leads, do not touch the tip of the lead with
your hand.
Remove the cap from the tip.
