Partial Discharge Test | Finish the Test and Judge
Judgment types and operation
When a test finishes, the judgment result (Upper-FAIL, PASS) appears in the test status.
Clearing the judgment result
Press STOP. The product is ready to start another test.
Upper-FAIL (Current) Upper-FAIL (Coulomb) Upper-FAIL (Pulse)
Condition A value greater than or equal
to the current upper limit
(50
mA) is measured.
A value greater than or equal
to the electric charge upper
limit (Upper Coulomb) is
measured.
A value greater than or equal
to the discharge count upper
limit (Upper Pulse Count) is
measured.
Display The test status shows “Upper-
FAIL (Current) ” until the
judgment result is cleared.
The test status shows “Upper-
FAIL (Coulomb) ” until the
judgment result is cleared.
The test status shows “Upper-
FAIL (Pulse) ” until the
judgment result is cleared.
Buzzer The buzzer continues to sound
until the judgment result is
cleared.
The buzzer continues to sound
until the judgment result is
cleared.
The buzzer continues to sound
until the judgment result is
cleared.
SIGNAL I/O
Connector
The U FAIL signal is output
until the judgment result is
cleared.
The U FAIL signal is output
until the judgment result is
cleared.
The U FAIL signal is output
until the judgment result is
cleared.
Calibration-FAIL PASS
Condition A test started despite the electric charge
calibration that has been unperformed or failed.
Upper-FAIL judgment did not occur during the
test.
Display The test status shows “Calibration-FAIL” until
the judgment result is cleared.
The test status shows “PASS” until the time
specified by Pass Hold elapses. Then the
judgment result is cleared.
Buzzer The buzzer continues to sound until the
judgment result is cleared.
The buzzer sounds for 50 ms (regardless of the
time specified by Pass Hold).
SIGNAL I/O
Connector
Both the U FAIL and L FAIL signals are output
simultaneously until the judgment result is
cleared.
The PASS signal is output until the judgment
result is cleared.
