4.4.1 Manually Checking Voltage Range
The output voltage range of auto header height control (AHHC) sensors in some combines can be checked from the cab.
For instructions, refer to your combine operators manual or the Table of Contents to find the AHHC instructions for your
combine model.
To manually check the sensors output voltage range, follow these steps:
1. Position the header 150 mm (6 in.) above the ground, and unlock the adapter float.

2. Ensure the float lock linkage is on the down stops at both
locations. When the linkage is on the down stops,
washer (A) and nut (B) cannot be moved.
IMPORTANT:
If the header is not on the down stops during the next two
steps, voltage may go out of range during operation,
causing a malfunction of the AHHC system.

3. If necessary, adjust cable take-up bracket (B) until
pointer (A) on the float indicator is on 0.
