5. Measure the clearance between the draper and the
cutterbar at deck supports (A).
6. Reduce the tension on the draper. For instructions, refer to
6.12.3 Adjusting Side Draper Tension, page 447.

7. Lift the front edge of draper (A) past cutterbar (B) to expose
the deck support.

8. Loosen two lock nuts (A) on deck support (B) by one
half-turn ONLY .
NOTE:
The deck is shown with the draper removed in the
illustration at right. The number of deck supports depends
on the width of the header.
9. To lower the deck relative to the deck supports, tap
deck (C) with a hammer. To raise the deck relative to the
deck supports, tap deck support (B) using a hammer
and punch.
10. Measure the thickness of the draper belt.
