PRASAR REDUNDANCY SME/ENT license of the Primary Server is shared between the Primary and Backup
Server. Thus, allowing you to use all the licensed features and functionalities that were supported by the Primary
Server during Redundancy. Hence, you need not purchase a separate Redundancy license for the Backup Server.
By default, the Redundancy license is disabled. If this license is not activated in either of the servers, then
Redundancy will not be supported.
To view or manage the Redundancy License,
• Initially, configure the redundancy parameters in Primary Server and Backup Server. To know more, refer
to “Configuring Redundancy Parameters”.
• Login as System Engineer.
• Under Configuration, click License Management.
The License Management page opens.
Here, the Primary System is in the Active state and the Backup System is in the Standby state.
To view the list of licenses activated in Primary System, click the View Profile button of Primary System.
Similarly, you can also view the default licenses present in the Backup System. To do so, click the View
Profile button of Backup System.
The ‘In Use’ tag indicates the license key of the System which is currently being used. This implies the
system will use the licenses as activated in this license key.
