This section includes description of Demo Provision and step-by-step instructions for activating different licenses
supported in PRASAR UCS.

Demo Provision
Demo provision for licensed features is useful, when the customer’s system having licensed features cannot be
repaired on-site and a standby system needs to be installed or when end user demands to use certain licensed
features on trial basis before actually purchasing the license.
When you start the Demo Provision, PRASAR UCS ENT Application license will be activated. Thus allowing you to
configure and register 2100 SIP Extensions with SPARK200.
It enables you to use the PRASAR UCS ENT Application as well as all the licensed features it supports, free of cost
for a period of 60 days. In this case, the application starts even if you have not purchased the PRASAR UCS SME/
ENT Application license.
The Demo Provision lets you access and use all the licensed features and functionalities

supported by the
application.
To avail this facility,
• Login as System Engineer.
Under Configuration, click License Management link. The License Management page opens.
• Click the Demo Period Start button. The demo period for using the licensed feature in your system starts
and the Start button will change to Pause. The demo period is of 60 days.
119. In Demo period,
1. the number of VOCODER channels that will be available will be as per the number of NX DBM VOCODER64
module installed.
2. one NXDBM VOCODER64 provides 64 channels.
3. 64 VMS Channels are supported.
4. VARTA Collaboration license will be applicable for the VARTA clients.
