Help Desk
What’s this?
An organization may have a Centralized Information Office which provides information related to different
departments such as HR, IT, or General information. For each department in the organization, an extension number
can be defined as a Help Desk.
How it works
• Extension 2002 is defined as Help Desk for HR policies and general rules.
• Extension 2016 calls the Help Desk extension 2002.
• If the Help Desk extension is busy/not responding, an Auto Callback request is set automatically on the
Help Desk extension.
• The system will serve the auto callback request as soon as the Help Desk extension is available.
• The Help Desk extension calls back extension 2016.

How to configure
You can define an extension as ‘Help Desk’ by selecting the ‘Assign Help Desk function’ check box in its “Station
Advanced Feature Template”.
