SIP Hardware Template Parameters
Each of the SIP Hardware Template parameters is described below in brief.
• SIP Hardware Template Number: Select the Template Number, from 1 to 32 that you wish to configure.
Vocoders
Vocoders are the various voice codecs used to compress the data in RTP packets for optimum use of bandwidth
and for ensuring voice quality.
• Click Vocoders to expand.
Vocoders Preference 1 to 7: You can set 7 Vocoder options in the order of preference for a SIP trunk.
The Vocoders supported by the system of the PRASAR UCS in the order of preference, from 1st to 7th, by
default are: G.723, G.729AB, GSM FR, iLBC - 30 ms, iLBC - 20 ms, G. 711-Law and G. 711 A-Law.
