The Digest Authentication table opens.
• In the User ID field, enter the User ID to be authenticated. The User ID must be within 40 characters.
Make sure the Authentication ID configured in SIP Extension Setting does not conflict with the User ID
configured above.
• In the User Password field, enter the corresponding Password. The Password must be within 16
characters.
To avoid unauthorized access, we recommend you to change the Password regularly. Make sure it is
strong and is kept confidential.
• Click Submit.
• Now, enable Digest Authentication on the desired SIP trunks. For instructions, see “Configuring SIP
Trunks”.
