Call Forward-Busy: If the called extension has set Call Forward-Busy, PRASAR UCS will place the call
on the forwarded destination number. However, this call (placed on the forwarded destination) will not be
an Intercom call.
User Absent/Present: PRASAR UCS will place the Intercom call on the called extension only if the status
of the called extension is ‘Present’.
Auto Call Back: When the Intercom call is generated and the called extension is busy, the calling
extension can set Auto Call Back on the called extension. When the called extension is free, PRASAR
UCS will serve the Auto Call Back request set by the calling extension. The ACB call placed on the called
extension will be a normal call.

•DISA: An Intercom call can also be generated from DISA mode.
Priority: The calling extension must have a higher Priority level than the called extension.
When the Intercom call is generated on SIP Extension having multiple call appearance and already a call
is present on the SIP Extension then the PRASAR UCS will place the Intercom call as normal call on the
SIP Extension.
How to configure
To provide this feature to extension users, you must enable this feature in their Class of Service. For instructions,
see “Class of Service (COS)” and “Station Basic Feature Template”.
How to use
For Extended IP Phone Users
To use intercom to call an extension:
Press the DSS Key assigned to Intercom.
OR
Dial *5
Dial the desired extension number.
The called extension’s speaker goes OFF-Hook.
You are in speech with the called extension.
You may talk.
