The following describes display status of the System Status LED, its detailed description,
and troubleshooting.
The System Status LED lights in green when the server runs properly. When the System
Status LED is off,or lighting in amber, it indicates that some kind of error occurred in the server.

Lighting in green Operating properly.
Power is tuned off. -
POST is in operation. Wait for a while. The LED lights in green
shortly after POST is completed.
Error occurred in processor.
(IERR)
Detected abnormal
temperature of processor.
(Thermal-Trip)
Watch dog timer time out
occurred.
PCI system error occurred.
PCI parity error occurred.
Uncorrectable error occurred
in memory.
Uncorrectable error occurred
in bus.
Completed POST during
POST error occurrence.
Turn off the power and then turn on the power
again. When some sort of error message is
displayed on the POST screen, log the
message and contact the maintenance
service company.
Off
Memory dump is requested. Wait for a while until dump is collected.
NOTE:
The cause of failure can be confirmed by referring to system
event logs (SEL) by installing NEC ESMPRO installed
preliminarily.
To turn off the power and reboot the server, perform the
shutdown process before rebooting when the shutdown process
can be performed from OS. When the shutdown process cannot
be performed, reset, shut down forcibly, or restart the server
after plugging in and off the power code.
