Command Name: oemnecsol
Used to
Usage: oemnecsol <baudRate>
・ load
The format of load command is shown below.
load –source <URI> [<options>] [<target>]
<URI> : Only “tftp” is available
<options> : listed below are available.
option Function
-oemnecfiletype [bmc|bios|sg] Specify the firmware kind to be uploaded.
If omitted,then ”bmc” is specified by default.
bmcfw: the management firmware
bios: BIOS
sg: SG restore
-oemnecduplicate If A1080a-D Model, update the management firmware
on both management board at the same time.
The ”bmc” option can be used simultaneously.
Execute the command such as below when updating the management firmware.
-> load –source tftp://192.168.1.1/rom.ima.update
HINT:
•Before executing this command, the TFTP server should be
configured. Because “UDP/69 is used for the TFTP
protocol,the security setting might be required depending on
the user’s environment.
By pressing CTRL + C, it is possible to interrupt the command
during TFTP network communication.
IMPORTANT:
•After updating the management firmware, the new firmware is
started up by reseting the management firmware.
•NEC unrecommends the firmware update operation to you
while the DC power is on because the application of the OS
may not work well.
