7. Collecting Service Processor LOG Information
Collect the LOG information of the Service Processor.
1) Click “Service Processor” on the left menu of the Server WEB Console of the Server
containing the logs to be collected, or from the System WEB Console for the whole system.
2) Collect the log data.
1) Click “Collect Hardware Log” on the Service Processor screen.
2) UPDATING... is displayed on the upper right corner after the collection of LOG data is
started. Do not move to another screen until the following dialog box is displayed.
3) Collecting the log data is complete when the following dialog box is displayed.
IMPORTANT:
The LOG information of the Service Processor can be collected
while the OS is operating. However, the response time from the OS
may become slow since the management board can get heavily
loaded. Therefore, it is recommended that the OS be shut down
when collecting logs.
