7-20 Routine maintenance
To remove the repeller
1. Using the 1/8-inch wrench, remove the nut and washer securing the
repeller contact to the ion block.
2. Remove the repeller contact from the ion block.
3. Remove the repeller contact ceramic spacer, located below the repeller
contact, from the ion block.
4. Remove the repeller from the bottom of the ion block.
5. Remove the 3 ceramic spacers from the repeller shaft.
