Vacuum Control dialog box parameters
Parameter Description
Fore Pumping:
Source Displays the current state of the source fore pump.
Analyser Displays the current state of the analyzer fore pump.
Inlets 1 Displays the current state of the inlets fore pump.
Inlets 2 Not used.

Fine Pumping:
Source Displays the current state of the source fine pump.
Select the check box to switch on the pump. Clear the
check box to switch off the pump.
Analyser Displays the current state of the analyzer fine pump.
Select the check box to switch on the pump. Clear the
check box to switch off the pump.
See the table titled “Fine Pumping readbacks” on page D-8.
GC Solenoid Displays the current state of the GC solenoid. This is
opened or closed when the source isolation valve is
opened or closed.
Source Ion
Gauge
Sets the value of the source ion gauge trip level.
Source Pirani Sets the value of the source Pirani gauge trip level.
Inlets 1 Pirani Sets the value of the inlets Pirani gauge trip level.

Analyser 1 Selects the Analyser 1 (ESA1) ion gauge.
Analyser 2 Selects the Analyser 2 (ESA2) ion gauge.
