cleaner reaches the end of its life. Another message will be displayed at this point when
the cleaner needs to be replaced.
Removing the Old Transfer Belt Cleaner
1. Select [Transfer Belt Cleaner] on the [Supplies] screen or the [Consumables
Status] screen.
2. Pull the front cover open.
3. Rotate the Transfer Belt Cleaner
unit release lever (R2)
clockwise.
4. Loosen the Transfer Belt
Cleaner unit locking screw by
rotating it anticlockwise.
5. Remove the Transfer Belt
Cleaner unit from the machine.
NOTE: Be careful when handling the
unit not to spill any residue toner left
on the Transfer Belt Cleaner unit.
