Engine speed sensor P0336

Error cause
•
Probable bad contact in the electric circuit detected at PIN 20 - 35 of the ENGINE connector
Troubleshooting
•
Check the electric circuit is in good conditions and the flywheel teeth cleaning and correct
positioning of the sensor in its own housing: if it is not, replace it. If it is OK, replace the
sensor
Twistgrip position sensor
Removal
•
Remove the left fairing.
•
Loosen the two throttle cable nuts.
•
Unscrew and remove the three plate
fixing screws.
•
Remove the throttle cables.
•
Unscrew and remove the nut and the
stud bolt.
•
Retrieve the washers.
•
Move the hand grip position sensor,
disconnect the two connectors.
•
Remove the hand grip position sensor.
NOTE
WHEN REFITTING, REMEMBER NOT TO INVERT THE
CONNECTORS.
THE LIGHT BLUE CONNECTOR HAS THE BLUE CABLE
AND THE WHITE CONNECTOR HAS THE WHITE CABLE.
